Sounds like you might have a small blockage.I was like that and an xray confirmed it once it was gone all was good.

Are you taking metamucil like fiber and imodium? I was on a lot of it under the direction of my surgeon following my surgery. I took Metamucil in the gelatin filled caps as I hate swallowing it. Some folks like the wafer/cookie like form. The secret is not to drink all of the water it says at the time with it. This allows it to soak up more water in your j-pouch and thicken your stool. This does not mean you are to hold back on drinking all the water needed to keep your self hydrated daily. I still am drinking all the water plus hydration drinks over 2 years later.
