Well hey Ya'll....
I haven't asked a question in ages! So I have been on Humira since '09 when I had my j-pouch disconnected and an end ileo installed...(for lack of a better term...lol). I am on weekly Humira injections for "maintenence" of suspected Crohns. The last time I was hospitalized for a obstruction, (which happens about twice a year) they said it wasn't necessarily something I ate wrong, but more likely it was the Crohns flaring and causing inflamation in my remaining intestinal tract which causes an obstruction.
So my question is...should I really be having obstructions that require hospitalization twice a year when I'm on that high of a dose of Humira??? I makes me wonder if the Humira is really working or not...I mean how many obstructions would I be having if I weren't on the Humira??? And how long can I be on this kind of dose...? Thanks all...hope you're doing great!
