Please, tell me if this is normal :

I was having a shower today and then I noticed a liquid was being expulsed by a side of my stoma.

I went out of the shower and took paper and cleaned it, then I cleaned the stool that comes from stoma.

These were EXACTLY the same.. is this normal? Please answer me , I am so scared right now because if this is not normal, is my stoma perfored?

I took a screenshot but it weighs too much so I can't attach it, so I uploaded it.

Glad you got it sorted out! Just something to add, in case they didn't tell you: if you have a loop ileostomy, there are actually two openings, one in the middle where most of the stool is evacuated, and one near the bottom, on the underside. The lower opening is mucousal but stool can and does sometimes move through. It can be frightening if this isn't properly explained to you. I know it was for me. I had both an end and a loop. I had the end first, which has only one opening. Then I had a loop formed, noticed the second hole and thought my stoma was perforated. But nope, it's all normal. Smiler
