Re: period and scope tomorrow

Quick question: I'm scheduled for a scope of my pouch tomorrow along with a procedure to alleviate an infected fissure. Problem is I've had to wait a while to get this surgery slot, and today Mother Nature decided to give me my monthly gift. I don't want to reschedule this procedure-I've waited too as it is, but do you think that going in with my period would be a problem?

I've had a scope while I was having my period before; I mentioned it to the doc, but they had no issue with it. My guess is that it won't be an issue for the fissure either, but it couldn't hurt to call ahead and ask. Good luck!
