It would appear that AllyKat had done a search based on a particular term and that thread popped up. The search function will show newest threads first, but it is up to the member to choose which thread to respond to.

Apparently she did not notice that the thread was two years old, and neither did many others who also responded. It happens once in a while. There is nothing wrong with how the site is working. This was not old posts showing up on a new thread, but new posts showing up on an old thread.

I was actually surprised the thread was still there. I thought posts were deleted after a year or so. But the thread is really dated and after Alley Kat resurrected the thread I posted to say that those photos were dated. I have had 2 scopes since then, in 2013 and 2014, and when I get the chance I will post the new pics. They are better than the ones taken in 2012, although there is still some inflammation. You can also see the polyp which looks bigger than it actually is, according to my Doc because the photo is magnified.

Yes, Rebecca, it is good to know that even when things look really bad, it is possible for health to be restored. All it takes is the right approach, patience, and tincture of time!

The really frustrating part is never really knowing if remission will last, or if relapse was preventable. If you can accept some setbacks and compromises, life is much more pleasant. Expect perfection and you'll never be happy.

CT, yes, older posts do get trimmed (due to storage constraints), but I don't know if it is automatic, or just when Bill J sees that we are nearing capacity.
