If one was to have an abscess due to a pouch leak (pre takedown), would this be seen on an MRI/pouchogram test?

and if not, how is it detected?

Usually it is seen on CT or MRI, but there are a number of members here who had pelvic abscesses that defied detection by any imaging techniques. If one is there, but can't be detected, it will cause chronic problems until exploratory surgery reveals it.
