I am still using crutches when I leave the house especially when I go to the park for fresh air and a bit of exercise. Saturday hubby went first to start his morning workout and I followed a bit later. I was hobbling along nicely with the 2 crutches when I saw him about 100yards away waving...I waved back. When I got to him I realised that it was not a friendly wave. He was hurt...apparently slipped while going down the stairs...we left the park with me on feet and him on 2 crutches!
Just got back from ER. He broke the 5th tarsal on his foot and ripped the ligaments! Now we are fighting for who gets to use the crutches!
Darn...it gets better. I am supposed to leave to Toronto in 2 days to see Dr C for a follow-up and advice on how to get the pouch surgery done here. Not sure if I can leave now.
Crap.

2nd sleepless night...but now I am a bit calmer (read:comatose).
I had to change my ticket (buy a new one!!!! Ouch!) and can leave at the end of the week...hubby in yelling less and I am no longer ducking!
Goodnes gracious. Got to my kinesiologist's office (kind of an advanced physiotherapist + osteopath/chiropractor)...to find him limping. He just broke his left foot too. So much for my much needed massage/stretch/crack.
All the cars here are standard shift...So No one in my house can drive!
Life is beautiful Eeker ...on the good side. My pouch is not acting up (too scared that I will yell at him and kick him out!)
