hi ..just wanted to point out something i just had the light bulb go off on my own experience with using my diet to control my sibo...

if like me you are taking various supplements check out all of yours to make sure they too comply with your diet restrictions..most supplements have filler, starches, sugar in various forms added to them..they too are adding things that work against our ability to not feed the bad bacteria..

this awareness came to me after discovering that the iron pills i started a few months ago for unrelated issues was playing havoc on my gut and i was unaware of iron being inflammatory especially to our guts although they can effect people with normal inners so to speak..

i realized i needed to check my supplements as well..sure enough my multi, and my jell type supplements were offenders feeding my gut every day with bad bacteria helpers..

easy enough to correct..looked up scd..approved supplements and freeda supplements as for example had just what i needed which i ordered..
So true, Rebecca! Sometimes we forget about ALL the things we put into our bodies, assuming that we NEED them because of the nutrients they provide. But, they always contain things other than the nutrient we need and all it takes is for us to be sensitive to it.

Especially once you have become sensitive, it can take smaller and smaller doses to trigger the response.
