I'm one of the pouchers who feels disappointed if I don't have an "explosion of gas" at the conclusion of a b.m. It helps me understand that it is a signal that the end of a "session on the toilet" has happened and really helps me feel cleaned out. I actually miss it when it doesn't happen. For me, it is sometimes embarrassing in a public toilet but worth the price. Oh, well!

Hey CeeeeCeeee I also feel the same, but there's a difference, a bit of gas at the end could be good, what Teddybearlady described is a change in her habits, and although she shouldn't worry too much I am pretty sure that an error one must avoid is to retain this kind of bm as I did, and both the times it led to pouchitis or sibo (treated the same with antibiotics), both the times it started with a similar change in my habits.
If it's too gassy I think bad bacterias are overgrowing, if it's a bit gassy I suppose bad bacterias are just expelled with every bms.
