really??? if i take a hot shower for 15 minutes my Hollister tape collar starts to come away from the skin big time

Use SureSeals - - can get via Edgepark and probably other medical supply distributors.

Fairly inexpensive...10/packaging @ $10

Walgreens (probably Walmart as well) has pink waterproof tape (by NexCare)that is not as strong as the M6 (something like that)that is available through medical supply distributors.

Heard at recent mini Mid-Atlantic UOAA local group conference, in ostomy clinic, that the Brava® elastic barrier strips hold up to swimming...might also work for hot tub

Since my first post I have since been in the hot tub with no barriers and just my regular set up. I have not had one leak or mishap and could not be happier. I was a bit timid at first, not knowing if I would have to do a major water change but so far so good. It would have broke my heart not to be able to enjoy my hot tub.

I have been in a hot tub with no problems...I do usually end up changing my wafer shortly after. I probably wouldn't go in if I was wearing my last wafer and waiting on a shipment...lol.

It's an interesting thing that I can go a few days afterwards!! I do not, however, go with a new pouch. Maybe I will test the waters - :-)
