Ever since my takedown on January 23rd, I've been up usually 4 times a night to go to the bathroom. Normally around 11:30/midnight, 1:30/2, 3/4, 5ish. I stay at home with my toddler, and she sleeps until around 7-7:30, so I usually wake up again when she wakes up, and I go again.
I'm at my wit's end! How can I get a longer period of sleep? It's only happened once, last week, where I only had to get up once (at 2:30).
I eat dinner around 7. I've eaten both earlier and later, no difference. I eat a light dinner which normally has rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes. I've also had pig out dinners - no difference. I usually eat something sweet around 9-9:30; I tried cutting that out a couple nights, no dice.
I am taking 4 lotomil daily. I used to take 6 Imodium daily but I felt it wasn't helping, so I stopped. I used to pop a lotomil and 2 Imodium before bed - still up at least 4 times. I stopped the Imodium, no change. I stopped the lotomil before bed thinking maybe I shouldn't try to slow things down, just let it go through fast and get it over with - still up around the same times.
Last night I wasn't feeling well and only had a few bites of dinner (I did have ice cream later). I was kind of excited, thinking 'oh, I didn't eat much, maybe I'll sleep longer!' - nope!
Any fresh ideas? Is this going to get better over time?
Thanks!
