Cool
After 3 barium tests I finally received the green light that my pouch is ready for action. The previous 2 tests showed a small leak in the pouch but that has HEALED and i'm ready to move beyond the bag, witch has been with me almost a year.

Now to the next potion of my life... Hopefully it's just a few days in the hospital then home for a few weeks and back to work, gym, and play.....

Can't wait Smiler

My plan is to stay home for two weeks and then back to work. I'm an Electrican so I need my body healthy to perform my job. My surgeon is sure ill be ready.

Can anyone weigh in on this for me?

I know everyone heals at different speeds. I healed up well from the first two surgerys. I'm 31 yrs old and looking forward to getting a "normal" life back.....

I went back to an office job after 4 weeks. I would have thought 2 weeks would be too soon given electricians have more physical work.

Do whatever you feel comfortable doing though. Don't cap what you can / can't do based on others experiences. But yeah, just be careful and don't overdo it. I've gotten a little "yolo" a couple of times and my pouch has pulled me into line fairly quick.

I hope your new plumbing is working well. I don't want to discourage you but think your 2 week time table for going back to work is unrealistic. You might want to read a few other subjects in this section. I don't think Superman could have done your job 2 weeks after take down. If you need a doctor's excuse I'm sure your surgeon will give you one for how ever long it takes you to heal enough. Good Luck Smiler
