My husband and I were on a 4 1/2 year journey with no success of getting pregnant. We had been looking into IVF, but due to a blocked fallopian tube my IVF doc advised to not go through with IVF until I had my tubes taken care of. Apparently the fluid inside a blocked tube is toxic to embryos and decreases IVF success drastically. I didn't want another surgery, so my IVF doc suggested the ESSURE procedure to block my tubes. A few months after this, I went through my first IVF. I hyperstimulated, so they were unable to do a fresh cycle in fear of me getting hyperstimulation syndrome. I waited one month before I could do a frozen cycle and it took! I am now sitting here 22 weeks pregnant feeling my little boy do jumping jacks in my belly!
Good luck and baby dust to all who are suffering with infertility. It is a long hard road, but don't give up!
