So I'm a few months out from takedown and currently have a frequency of 7/8/9 over the course of a good 24 hours, or 10/11/12 over a difficult one.
I recently met with my surgeon and he feels the frequency on my bad days is still too high. He has left it up to me whether or not I try a course of fagyl. He says its very difficult to diagnose pouchitis shortly after takedown.
So, is there any harm in getting a course and running through it to see its effects? Any troubles after I finish it etc?
Thanks
