Last time I went to the bathroom was 6:00 yesterday, went out for dinner, then caught a comedy show. Went home during the show because I could go to the bathroom. Pain set in, gas pains. And still I couldn't go. About 5 am me and my girlfriend headed to the hospital. Got a ct scan that shows no blockages just pouch is impacted. I was given. Dulcolax suppository, no luck, currently trying to do a fleet enema who's purpose is too loosen things up, hard to retain it for long and when I expel in there is a very small amt of blood. I believe they are going to try something else now just don't know what and I feel so lost

Contact your usual GI. Before I lost my colon due to multiple perforations, the ER docs told me I was "constipated". Thanks to them, I almost died because I never wanted to go back to the hospital. My sister recently had ER docs misread her X-Ray when she actually had broken her sacrum and pubis bones.
Yeah I have been in contact with her and her team since I got here.

Favorite cures? Mineral oil, warm water enemas, prune juice (not in enema format), large quantities of hot tea and warm lemonaide...
Push fluids....lots of them, it tends to help but head for the ER if there is vomiting, sudden pain or fever.

I did get admitted on Friday morning at like 4am. They tried me on an enema with phosphorus in it and some other stuff. Something from fleetwood. Also tried me on 1 Dulcolax suppository that didn't help, then tried another suppository that had opium and something 31st in, was meant to relax bowels but nothing came of that. Fast foward to Saturday about 12 clock my surgeon showed up and they did a flex scope to go in and remove the impaction. Surgeon said it was probably seaweed from my sushi that did it. Staying one more now because right now I have this other pain going across my stomach and my pouch is sore, soo much air was put in as well.
