Hey gang,
Unfortunately, I'm not talking about a funny joke. I was at work today, just about to start an 8 hour training session on some new software. Apparently it's an intense course, so I wanted to empty my bag so I wasn't interrupted. I walk to the loo across the hall, and do just that, and then, for no reason at all, the entire left side of my bag, along the seam, comes undone! I don't get it, the bag was empty, I wasn't touching it, yet it opened as if some unforeseen force just pulled it apart. Thankfully, I had my "spare parts" with me in my backpack, but my clothes were now covered in stool. I put on a new bag, stuck my head out of the bathroom, and hollered to my instructor to fetch me a hospital gown and a pain of scrubs so I could leave the bathroom (in a case like this, it's handy working in a hospital!). I cancel my training session, run out to my car, and drive home to remove my old wafer, shower, and put on a new appliance, and run back to work before I get myself fired. Lesson learned, always keep spare clothes in my locker at work. I have extra clothes in the car, but jogging shorts and a tank top are hardly appropriate for work! Lol! Anyone else ever have the seam of your bag just inexplicably burst open? Must have been a faulty bag, but at over $20 a pop, it better not happen again! What a day!
