I have a history of a rectovag fistula which should have been covered up with my recent pouch advancement surgery. Lately, even before the takedown that I had, I started having some symptoms again (strangish discharge, feelings of occasional air bubbles, always feeling kind of wet down there). During my surgery (and obviously I spoke with my surgeon about all of this), he did the takedown and a thorough EUA. I was given the all clear. Is it possible though that he could have missed another possible fistula tract? These symptoms seemed to pick up again.
