Hey guys,

I've been using my jpouch for 10months now. My recovery has been going well with the exception of anal fissures that flare up or every now and then.

Ever since two days ago I've encounterd a new problem. I've been getting pain in a specific area of my jpouch whenever I get the urge to go. It also hurts when I go. My frequency has increased but the consistency is normal.

Did anybody experience this before? I have no idea where this came from. I had a scope done 2 months ago and things looked good.

Any help would be so much appreciated.

My guess is adhesion related pain, since your pouch scope looked good (although that was before this new symptom). You could have a stricture forming, but difficult to know with these symptoms (too soon to tell). Since you have FAP, unlikely that it is pouchitis brewing, but it does happen. Could be something as simple as a virus you picked up. Just keep track of things and call your doctor if this pain persists or becomes severe.
