I know I count even the little milestones in my life now as big events! I went to help my hubbie paint the outside of a beach cottage and I was told it did have a working bathroom, but much to my dismay the toilet wasn't even installed yet. So I diligently worked for the next 6 hours with no bathroom breaks at all. Even 4 months ago I would have never have thought that possible. I don't recommend going that long and I barely made it home but I am thankful that I could.

I had a similar experience on a bicycle trip in the countryside outside Bangkok. There was supposed to be a bathroom at the place we stopped for lunch, but it turned out to be a squat toilet that I was completely unprepared for (and I was convinced I'd spray something unfortunate on my shoes). So I ended up holding out from about 8 AM until 6 PM, which I had believed impossible.

I kind of like discovering that I can do something I'd considered impossible.

I love those milestones, big or small they are all worth a Yeehaa! and a Yahooo!
Mine was when my hubby and I took the car on cross country car trip and only had to stop every 4-6hrs for a break (granted, I only ate protiens for lunch and dinner)...but it was wonderful not to have to stop every hour on the hour...
Keep the good news coming...
