I see Colleen Webb who works out of the IBD center at NYP/Cornell. She might only see patients of the GIs at that group but I'm not sure, so you could give her a try. The number for the office is 212-746-5077.

Awhile back, when I was struggling with nutrition, dehydration, malnourishment, weightloss, anemia... I found an internist who specialized in nutrition issues for IBD patients. She worked in the IBD center with other IBD GI doctors. I had tried nutritionists and registered dietitians in the past but they never really seemed to understand the limitation of people with missing body parts!

This particular doctor I had.. truly turned my life around for me at the time. She is not in your area, and has since retired, but I am just mentioning this to see if you might try hunting down someone with those type of credentials. I am sure she couldn't be the only one in the country focused on that.
