Hi all! New to the site but need some advice. I am having my takedown on the 7th of Feb. I am planning on moving to Ga. in April. (I am in Ct.) What can I expect. My doc says no way before April but I would like to know what to expect. I will not be doing all the driving and will be stopping at a hotel for at least one night. Thanks i advance for any help.

Thanks Sue! She was conserned if I wanted to make this move earlier than April. Mostly blood clots from sitting for too long. Having to go to the bathroom frequatly ( I am already prepared that I will have to wear "female briefs"! Losts of butt cream also. But I would like to get advice for people that have actually gone thro this.
I think the idea is that you plan for having a rocky time and not for best case scenario. In particular, you do not want to set yourself up for trauma and stress.

Maybe you won't be ready for lifting boxes and the stress of a new environment less than two months out from takedown. Sometimes complications occur and you wind up in the hospital for weeks, instead of days. If you plan a schedule where you do not have contingencies, it could be a problem.

Better to be sitting there thinking, "I could have done this a month earlier," than to be saying, "Oh my god, I am not ready for this!!"
