Well here's a new one! I don't know much about the science behind all of this kind of stuff and the problems like pouchitis that we face, but I wonder if this is something that could be used for pouchitis treatment. Anyone have any insight into this kind of treatment? Check out this link!

I don't think this is new. I know some people who have tried it for UC but it didn't work. It was something I wasn't willing to even try.

I've heard of it. In fact I even discussed this with a GI Nurtrionist but since I already had a pouch, I was not a candidate.

However, in thinking back to my UC days, if a doctor told me this would cure my UC because there have been many documented cases, I would want the names of the doctors and patients and if it was all on the up and up, despite how disgusting this looks, yeah I would go for it.

This is not new, they have been doing this in other countries for bad cdiff infections and is now gaining steam in the US

Not new at all, but not a common treatment. There have been numerous discussions here about it, but it was referred to as fecal transplant.
