Good morning!
I just had my takedown surgery for my pouch last Friday. I have a couple of things that I noticed, though, that I didn't think to ask the doctor about before I was discharged that I thought would be good to ask fellow j pouchers.
First, I have noticed that I'm having trouble urinating. It's not that I can't or there's not anything there-it's just that I really have to concentrate to be able to go. I remember this from my first surgery (and it got better), but I assumed it was from having a catheter. This time, I didn't have a catheter, so not sure what's going on. Also, is it normal to feel like the pouch isn't totally empty at first? Is that something that gets better with time?
Thanks!
