Hello.

I recently did IVF and am not 6 weeks pregnant and had a couple of questions for those of you who have been pregnant.

Did you have any complications?

Where you considered high risk?

Were you on bedrest?

Did you ever experience incontinence?

Any information you can give me about your experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Did you have any complications? No. Just increased frequency the last several weeks as the baby got bigger.

Where you considered high risk? I saw a high risk for an initial visit, but they considered me not high risk. My OB office had no issues taking good care of me. I had a normal vaginal delivery.

Were you on bedrest? No. Up and running after my three year old all the way til the end.

Did you ever experience incontinence? No.

I was considered high risk and did go to a high risk OB (maternal-fetal medicine specialist or MFM). I was very happy in his care. I had an absolultely smooth and normal pregnancy and no problems at all. No bed rest or anything. Getting pregnant was the problem - we had to go through IVF as well, and could not afford to do it again. We are very lucky that our solo attempt resulted in our son, who is now 3.

the only issue digestive track wise was at the 6 month mark my son desided to lay transverse for 10 hours and it created a parcial ubstruction that cleared as soon as he moved. i also had the increased frequency.

i had a regular ob. i did have about 5 days of bed rest but that was due to bleeding after a fall in the first trimester.

no incontinence issues.

i desided to have a c-section and it was a text book procedure. i have even been able to breastfeed with a small 6oz(per day) formula suplement. just incase you were thinking about it.

I had 2 pregnancies with jpouch. No bed rest & normal vaginal deliveries, not high risk. I too had more bms towards the end due to all the pressure. During months 5-6 I had to eat much smaller meals because the baby was pushing through the belly button area/stoma scar area and I felt nauseous if I ate too much. Good luck!

Thank you all so much for your responses. Unfortunately my pregnancy is most likely not viable. At my 6 week scan saw a ges sac, but no fetal pole or yolk sac... same thing at my 7 week scan. I go back on 2 July (9 week point) and if we see nothing docs say it was a blighted ovum.. I am keeping my fingers crossed and praying.
Thank you...
M
