I am pooping every 2 hours, around the clock!! my diet consists of:

breakfast: half bagel w/cream cheese, yogurt with half teaspoon psyllium

snack: half bagel with almond butter

lunch: tuna fish sandwich (just tuna + white bread)

snack: scoop of vanilla ice cream

dinner (7pm): white fish and some sweet potato

meds: none, just align probiotic 1x/day

**note: poops are like small droppings, sometimes difficult to pass

-anyone have any suggestions?
-should I change or expand my diet?
-is it normal to poop 20x/day at this stage?
-will it settle down?

i am genuinely hungry and also trying to gain a few lbs, but losing sleep and getting very frustrated with all the poopage!

With frequent, small, difficult to pass stools, I would wonder if you have an anal stricture, and not emptying properly. Bowel slowers might make it worse. You may want to call your doctor to be checked for stricture. You could also be having pelvic floor dysfunction, where the muscles ar not coordinating.

Then again, could just be too early to tell.

Fq-I'm 5 weeks out too. My frequency isn't as high but I too have the small dropping and sometimes difficult to pass. I spoke with my surgeon the other day and he recommended trying to hold it in. He said this will help stretch the pouch and buy you more time between emptying thus getting your frequency down. Try not to tend to every urge if possible. He said try to hold for upto an hour if possible.
