Good Morning Fellow J-pouchers,

Today marks my 4 year anniversary of colon removal and j-pouch creation. It has been a sometimes frustrating and crazy journey. However I feel very lucky, I am able to work full time, there is a bathroom in the back of the building that gives me pretty good privacy and no limits on how many times a day I can step away from my desk and go I have learned what not to eat that will give me problems. Sometimes I do have "flares" as I call them but not as often as I used too. I feel lucky to have had a great surgeon in my area that was only 20 min. from my house. I get my pouch scopes once a year (need one now), so far so good. I try and focus on the good days and the bad days don't seem as bad. I have a bidet I use at home, what a tush saver!! I am not sure how j-pouchers go without them. I have created lasting friendships with other j-pouchers from this site and value their input when ever needed. We have lifted each other up and shared this journey. Thank you all for your continued support and love.
