Re: 3weeks out

Things have been going well but in the past week I have been having consistent pain right below my stoma site.Oh I should have said I am 3weeks post takedown.I haven't been very active lately could that be the problem? Have a appointment with my surgeon next week but should I be concerned?Thanks for any help.

It all depends on how severe the pain is and whether there are any associated symptoms, like swelling, redness, drainage, fever, etc. if it is just mild pain that is not getting worse, generally it can wait until your next appointment. But, if you are concerned, you can call your surgeon's office and leave a message for your surgeon so you can get his advice. He should be able to decide if it can wait or you need to be seen sooner.
