What can I expect tomorrow for j pouch scope tomorrow so surgeon can check pouch formation? For everything else...I've been sedated... Not looking forward to it.
I just had my first last week and was fully sedated. From reading on here, most do not have sedation. However, I was raw from pouchitis and couldn't have handled it.
I'm sure others will chime in soon, or search the forum on sedation, maybe?
I had my first scope last July and was not sedated and didn't have any pain meds. It didn't hurt, just uncomfortable and was over in a few minutes. To me it was a walk in the park compared to other things that's been done to me in the past couple of years.
