The more likely cause of your pancreatic insufficiency is IBD, as it is an associated disease. The abdominal CT is reasonable because your doc needs to rule out a pancreatic tumor or something else undetected. Not something to try and second guess. Most likely, all is good and you just need digestive enzyme replacement for now.
