I had my PSA and MRI on tuesday and i will talk to my urologist at CCF on friday afternoon with my results. Hoping for the best but expecting the worst. I have a feeling i am going to need a biopsy anyways. I was put on Bactrim DS FOR 14 DAYS prior to these tests to rule out prostatitis and on day 10 i broke out with a full body acne looking rash. I was told to stop the med immediately and take Cipro for the remaining 4 days . its finally starting to fade away. I know my prostate is slightly enlarged from a cystoscopy a few years ago to check my bladder for microscopic blood and my urologist noticed the prostate was size of an older man. but zero urinary issues still so i guess i will get some answers on friday.. I have been going crazy for the last 6 weeks when my psa went up to 4.7 as it bounced back and forth from 1.9 to 2.7 for a few years. i have lost alot of weight from the anxiety and also got the flu 2 weesk ago and couldnt eat for 4 days
