I took a look at your profile and I see that you have ongoing pouchitis since 2007. So, yeah, you could be having nutritional issues. I hope you have been having regular screening labs: CBC, blood sugar, HbA1c, liver enzymes, renal function, thyroid levels, B12, folic acid, vitamin D levels. While pouchitis can interfere with absorbtion of a number of nutrients, age and other autoimmune diseases can also be a factor. It can also be side effects from your pouchitis treatments. Be sure to rule this stuff out before assuming it is something you can control with diet!
