i have had j-pouch for 10 years.i have a teerible time nightly incontinence, i hate wearing depends.this occurs about twice a week.also anyone out there have joint pains?no doctors seem able to help.ever since u.c. my health has gone downhill with no help insight

A lot of us that have had UC have joint problems. I am on Mobic for my pain. It helps.

Mobic worked for me, too. However, I thought Mobic went the way of the other famous arthritis drug (can't remember the name). That drug also worked wonders. So, now....nothing except OTC Aleve. It helps some. Because I no longer have a colon, I was told NSAIDS should not be a concern. So far, they are okay. I try to walk and walk and walk. Warmer weather in the summer helps. Best wishes!
