It took my bowels about 3 days to wake up and I spent 5 in the hospital. The good thing is that this surgery isn't as rough. You should be able to start walking around the same day as your surgery and I would suggest walking a lot.

Mine woke up the next night around midnight and I was in the hospital 4 days. Takedown was by far the easiest surgery for me.

Mine were working within 3 hours and the nurses and drs did not believe me. My husband said cant u smell they r working? So several drs with stethescopes checked out my gut and heard it rumbling. As you can see everyone is different

I just had my takedown last Thursday. Surgery was at about noon and I had my first BMat 12:30am that night. I came home on Friday night, I think they wantedmeto stay another night but I kinda pushed it. My husband was not handling thetime with me away from home very well this time so I was anxious to get home.

When is yours scheduled?
