About a week ago I said I shouldn't complain, because things were going so well, except for the gut ache that I always seem to have. Well so much for that...
Wednesday I had to go up to central Minnesota, to one of my accounts. I stayed overnight, and felt really crummy when I woke up Thursday morning. I just ignored it, and thought I'd feel better when I got moving. My lower right back was killing me. Well to make a long story a little shorter, I ended up throwing up 4 times and ended up in the emergancy room in Detroit Lakes Minnesota. They did a non contrast CT, and could see rements of a kidney stone. I was in the hospital about 6 hours. They said I also have inflammation in my lower abdomin. My blood worked showed an infection, and there was a small amount blood in my urine. I had to drive home Friday, normally a 4 hour drive, turned out to 6 hours, due to 2 accidents and contruction. Those 6 hours were nothing short of the first 6 hours after either one of my surgeries. I was miserable. My headache was bordering on a migraine, every muscle my body ached. They gave me 5 Augmentin's and 12 Vicodens to take along with the Cipro I'm already on. I didn't understand everything on the CT report. But 6 weeks after my first surgery, I had to have a CT, and that radiologist also said I had fluid, inflamation and probably an infection my lower abdomin. I went back to Mayo, and they did not agree with that diagnosis. I've always had these gut aches, and now another hospital says the same thing the first one did. Hmmmmm....? Oh Cataja! You poor thing!
Yeah, I hate having to travel when I'm in pain and miserable so can fully sympathise. I think it's time to see a urologist to finally get this sorted out don't you? Kidney stones are no fun and you certainly can't carry on like this. Keep us posted and hope you get this sorted out soon. Take care One glass of red wine per day is good for the heart..... it's just that mine's a big heart so I need a very big glass!!!! D-| Cheers! |

Geez Cataja there's alot goin'on in there. No wonder you've had a gut ache. What is your plan? Get this stuff taken care of ASAP. Who do you consult when you have problems? Do you go right to your surgeon? Have you been running a temp? I would deal first with that infection, no matter if its a little viral thing or what...find out. Could the blood in the urine be from kidney stones?
Dang I wish I had some good advise but I don't. I just really wish you get this all behind ya quickly. My thoughts and prayers are with ya. |

Thanks you guys...
It seems as soon as the Tylenol wears off, the fever comes back. Usually between 99.7 and 101.7. It sucks that all this happened out of town and on the weekend. I'm planning on faxing the CT report to my surgeon Monday. I don't even want to go the ER, because no one will know what to do, I'd rather wait for my surgeon on Monday. The two really bad things: 1.)I'm just finishing a project at work, that today was the due date, and I still have 7 store to finish. 2.) I am supposed to leave for Miami, Friday morning for 8 days. I have been looking forward to this for so long. Non-refundable tickets ofcourse, the best I can get is 50% cancellation credit. My nephew rented us a car, also non refundable. My nephew, his wife, and my sister, all took vacation time, and now I'm probably going ruin the whole thing. I'd cry...but I just don't have the energy. Have a fabulous day! Oh I'm so sorry. That really sucks. Let's pray for a miracle cuz ya never know....it could be something that gets cleared out immediately. I'll definitely be praying for ya. Make sure you tell all docs about your schedule so they do something quickly.
And I don't blame you for not going to the ER right now. I mean even if you have to go in to hospital its better if your doc admits you and gets started right away. Hey and if you get some antibiotics or something and quickly get out of pain, I say you can recover on the beach just as easy as your bed!!! Hoping your plans all work out. |

WOW! I'm out of bed! I haven't had any tylenol since 6am. My fever seems to have broke. I took a Vicoden and about a half hour later I felt way better. I took a shower and even got dressed.
I still have pain in my lower right abdomin, but I think it's my ovary! That ovary does usually act up at the most un-inopertune times. Have a fabulous day! Well my burst of wellness lasted about 3 hours before the fever came back, and I was feeling crummy again. I'll spend the day down at Mayo tomorrow, I'll see my surgeon, and possible the gyno about this cyst.
Two of my Rep buddies are going to drive in from eastern Wisconsin to finish up my stores. I can't believe it, that's huge! At least I'm luck enough to have really good friends! Have a fabulous day!
