Hello....Can someone please explain to me what cuffitis is? I have pouchitis but im stating to wounder if it is cuffitis?

IT is inflammation of the retained rectal cuff. The symptoms are the same as pouchitis, but there typically is bleeding. The doc can feel it with a digital exam. Sometimes they miss it on scope.
