Hey guys. Had my test today.. what a wonderful charcoal breakfast. Everything seemed to go through pretty fast even though it felt like it was just sitting in my belly. I'll have results in a few days but I assume they'll tell me I'm 'normal'. The nurse and tech were SO nice. They made sure I was comfortable and didn't even seem slightly irritated by my constant bathroom trips. The one girl said something like 'I've had diarrhea, it sucks. How can we get mad at you for something you can't control..' when I kept apologizing. Very nice girls.
I'm having a lot of pain today, I'm really really sore in my gut. Gall bladder hurts too. Feels so much better when I lie on my right side. Diarrhea even though I had the charcoal, and I have to bear down quite a bit to get it out. Food and liquids are passing through me VERY quickly
Sorry, this is gross. I'm just worried because it looks like the only thing I'm digesting is the chicken I've been eating. Everything else kind of looks like the way it did when I chewed it. And it either smells absolutely horrible like dead rotten eggs or like chicken. lol.
Should I call my surgeons office and try to get him on the phone? My GI didn't seem too concerned about the undigested food but it scares the heck out of me. Makes me think that something isn't releasing whatever digestive things it needs to. I am currently taking one protonix once a day, Buspirone twice a day for anxiety, metamucil and lomotil as needed.
I'm trying to avoid fatty foods, I've been eating steamed chicken, potatoes, carrots, eggs, stuff like that.
I am having a hard time with the pain, I hope to god they'll give me something and don't just think I'm being a wuss. I can't sleep at night at all, it hurts and I can't get comfortable. I have watched 567 episodes of the X-Files in the past 3 nights. lol. I usually feel a bit better in the afternoon and try to get some sleep at that time. Thank you guys.

I still have my toes crossed ( been walking kinda funny but I won't uncross my toes till you get some answers ) I hope you can get pain free soon, that is awful that you are still suffering like that.

Your diet sounds proper, steamed is best. Not sure why things look the same on the way out. I can't recomment that you up the lomotils because I don't know if you have a stricture or not. Anyways, at some point you might want to try immodium, for some it works better than lomotil.

I'm glad you are getting more tests done. There has just got to be an answer soon that will lead to treatments to get you better.

Please be careful, it can't be safe walking around with your toes all crossed like that.. but it IS much appreciated.
Imodium doesn't work as well for me, for some reason, but thanks I'm trying to be very careful with my lomotil/metamucil because I FEEL constipated and have trouble passing stool. Even though I have diarrhea. (Insert crazy frustrated screaming here)
