Hi Angela,
Excellent! Big Grin I was up and running (literally!) straight after my TD too! Home on day 3 Smiler
Sounds like you're having the same experience! Great! Good luck - slather on the Calmoseptine/Ilex so you don't get sore, and away you go Smiler

So today is a hard day for me. .the night was terrible up three times and had to have a nurse change my bedding and my gown. so emberacing. I was very nauseated this morning so they havent upgraded my diet yet. so i am still on 400ml of clear liquids today. I was hoping to go to unlimited but I guess i cant push it. I am just so ready to get home. I get depressed in the hospital. Talk to you all soon. Angela

Oh poor you Frowner
I threw up bright green bile the morning of the day I was supposed to go home, and worried it'd mean I couldn't leave. But they let me go anyway. I hope you get home soon. I'm a firm believer in getting home ASAP. Nothing like having your own bed, your own bathroom and no more hospital food! Good luck Smiler
Just take things slowly, eat soft stuff/liquids and accept that your body needs time. I ate the same oatmeal drink that they gave us when I'd given birth to my daughter - like very watery oatmeal porridge, with a bit of sugar and milk in it. It gives you energy at least. Don't feel embarrassed about accidents. Nurses deal with these things all the time, and you can't be blamed for not knowing how to "drive" your new body Smiler

Angela, keep looking beyond the present, because I am sure in just a very short time it will be much better. It seems that there are always some set backs initially. I know there was with me. I always wanted things to happen sooner than they did. We are all rooting for you and excited for you--------Bye for now-leftie

So I had a great night last night only had to get up twice and no accidents. the night nurse was so much better than the night before. I am now on a soft diet and they also pulled the iv. the nurse thinks I will be discharged tommorow. I hope so. I of couse cant head home yet. the doctors like for the patients who are out of town to stay at the hotel a night to make sure everything goes well. then it is a 2 day drive from there. I cant wait to be home. Talk to you all soon. Angela

Hi Angela, I'm so happy to hear that things are getting better. I know how badly you want to get home, but it's good that you stay one more day to make sure you're up to the trip. Hope to talk to you soon,
