Hi everyone its been 5 years since my j pouch surgery and its time for my pouchoscopy.I was just wondering what to expect from this.
The last 5 years have been great no problems at all. All my yearly chech ups have been great too. any info would be greatly appreciated

Hi Jim. I've had 2 pouchoscopies since my surgery in 2000. I basically starved for 2 days for a 5 minute procedure. I tell you, if only colonoscopies had been that easy. I haven't had any problems with my pouch, and so I'm not sure if that made it any less uncomfortable.
Long story short. It was a piece of cake. Good luck to you.
