so I'm having an endoscopy/colonoscopy/biopsy done tomorrow morning. these have become second nature to me, considering my history. but for some reason, I've been a little worried about this scope... I explained to my surgeon that I wanted to have a biopsy done of my ileum/whatever is left of my rectum/etc. When I had my collectomy 5 years ago, one of my surgeons told me that she found precancerous cells on my large intestine and that it was 97% inflamed. She said by the time I was 24-turning 25, then I would have had colon cancer. I had almost all of my rectum removed with the collectomy so there wouldn't be the thought of cancer coming about in the future. but when speaking to my surgeon last week, he did say that there is still a chance of cancer in the piece of rectum that is left. he wasn't incinuating that I am going to have cancer and there's no reason to think that it could be. but throughout my illness and surgeries, I've had the worst luck with this kinda stuff. so I just wanted to know if there was anyone else who went through something like this, or what the chances are that there could be cancer in that tiny piece of large intestine left, or if I'm just being crazy. I've been dealing with a lot lately (I recently had to leave my job because my boss wouldn't promote me because of my chron's) and I've been struggling to get on with my life and try to deal with all of this. So I'm sure my emotions are playing a part in this but who knows... Any advice would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

Josh - how did your procedure go today? Did everything go smoothly? I hope there wasn't anything out of the ordinary.
