Gall bladder removal 4.5 years ago (two years after take-down) did not have any apparent impact on my son's incidence of pouchitis. In him it is not chronic.

I had to have my gall bladder removed 2 years after pouch surgery, frequency increased but not enough to make an impact. Be careful to pull away from greasy foods. My biggest problem is I love to eat and fresh veggies are my favorite. As my doctor said, you can have them but your going to pay for it!!!
