I just got home from work and went to the bathroom which is typical...but it was all bright red...lots of it. I had my takedown in march and havent had many problems. What does this mean or what could it? Im kinda worried.

Could just be a minor blood vessel burst with a brisk bleed (ileal tissue can bleed easily). Could be an inflamed rectal cuff or hemorrhoids. If you feel faint or dizzy, go to the doctor/ER. Otherwise, you can just wait and see if it is self limiting. If so, just mention it to your doctor at the next visit. If it becomes persistent, call your doc for an exam.

Did you eat or drink anything RED? Like Gatorade or something else?

And don't forget beets...! I was sure I was dying one day, until I remembered there were beets on the salad bar I had for lunch.

Thanks for the replies. I know I did not eat anything red. That has happened a few times, so I always make note when I do eat something red like that. It seemed to just be that one night and has cleared up for now.
