Hi,
I'm currently out of the country, travelling, and would really appreciate your feedback. I've been experiencing a lot of increased output. I'm six months post one step jpouch surgery and was down to ten movements a day up until a week ago. I'm now experiencing up to 20 which are mostly formed as before. No other symptoms other than the continuing leaking that I've had from the beginning and a decrease in weight which concerns me as I've never gained back the weight I lost in the hospital post surgery. I do have antibiotics with me if necessary but, of course, don't want to use them unless absolutley necessary. The other concern is that I haven't improved since about two months post surgery, i.e. gradually went from 20 to 10 movements and than plateaued at 10 until recently when the big increase took place. I've been experimenting with different doses of metamucil and lopermade but so far no change. Any advise? Thanks. Rhema

What sort of diet are you eating now? If you're out of the country and eating foods you aren't used to it might contribute to the increased output. You might want to try to find some familiar and safe food for you.
