Just a quick note to let everyone know that Rachel's takedown is actually taking place right now. Dr. Sack said he would be up to see me in a couple hours to let me know how (WELL) it went. Thanks to everyone for all the good info here.

Also, is it Dr. Sac out of Rush who is doing her takedown?? |

Hi,
So glad to hear that Rachel is doing well. I remember the waiting with Mark, the waiting made it feel like the time went by so slow. Are you staying with her at the hospital overnight or do you have a family to get home to? Be sure to take care of you! another live update from the Hospital:
Rachel is doing great. I am so excited for her and also for myself. She had breakfast this morning and a couple hours later we went for a nice long walk. She felt the urge to go to the restroom so we leisurely strolled back to her room and she went. There was no need to run, get stressed out or worry about an embarrassment while walking back to the room. I am hoping that this is an indication of how well things are going to be for her in the future. It sure gives us hope for an end to the way things were. She has had lunch since and has still had no urgency like before. The doc should be around shortly to kick us out of here and tell us to go home. Hi John,
Sounds like Rachel is right on track and maybe even doing better than average! Fingers crossed that she continues to make a problems free recovery and that you can both can get back to some normality. Take care both of you. One glass of red wine per day is good for the heart..... it's just that mine's a big heart so I need a very big glass!!!! D-| Cheers! |
