My son had his scope today and the surgeon said the pouch looks good no strictures holes or anything like that but his cuff is inflammed that might be cuffitis? He said he took some biopsis of the cuff. Could this be something else? He said the pouch needs to heal alot more before takedown.

I don't know about the cuffitis, but when I went for my take down in Jan 2007, they sent me home to heal more. It had been almost 4 months, they finally did it March 15, 2007. I hope all goes well for your son. How old is he? David
