Hey everyone,

So this doesn't have to do with having a j-pouch or an ostomy, it has to do with my school. Yesterday, Thursday February 14th, a 27 year old man decided to shoot up an auditorium full of students killing 6 and injuring 18 more before he took his own life. It's times like these that truly make me appreciate everything I have in my life and to not take anything for granted. Please keep my fellow Huskies in your thoughts and prayers at this time, for it has effected more than just those who were in the class, but so many more! Live everyday as if it will be your last and don't sweat the small stuff. Remember, it could always be so much worse! As a person living in Illinois (and a student who attended the University of Iowa in 1991 when Gang Lu shot and killed 5 people in various university buildings), my prayers have been and will be with those at NIU.
