Jan,
Here's to wishing you well and a speedy recovery. Your valuable advice and knowledge will be missed, I hope we don't screw up in your absence!

I'd like to reiterate that Kathy can come clean your toilets, make dinner, or do laundry anytime!

Stay well,
Sue Big Grin

Jan,

I saw the subject line of this thread, and wondered why so many responses for you just saying you would be off and on for a while. But alas, I understand now!

We will be praying for your assessments and recovery to be successful and uneventful. Please let us know if you need anything!

Steve

Jan,

I can only echo what everyone else has said and let you know that I am hoping and praying for a speedy recovery. Not only do you offer all of us a wealth of information and advice but you are also one of the most compassionate and caring people on this site.
Thank you for all you've done for me personally.
I know we haven't "met" in person but if I can do ANYTHING for you please let me know.

All the best,

Lori

Jan, as this thread grows and grows and grows (and grows some more), I think you can see how many people are thinking about you and praying for you -- you are so important and special to so many people, and please know that we're all here for you, however you need us to be. Smiler

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Wow! You guys have humbled me! Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and wishes. I'm sure things will work out fine. I've got very proactive doctors that have been really going the whole nine yards. These sorts of things often go very long without being diagnosed, because they just aren't considered, due to their rarity. I must say that I have never once wished I had anything other than my Kaiser HMO. A lot of red tape and time is cut out without needing preapproval for everything. No bills, no denials. That really reduces my stress a great deal.

Then, I have YOU GUYS with your collective good will, so how can I go wrong?

To be honest, I am more worried about screwing up my vacation at the end of May than the outcome of the catheter ablation or my CT results.

Jan Wink

P.S. Kathy, if I didn't have a housekeeper every other week, I just might take you up on the toilet cleaning. But, I do also have two adult boys at home that can pitch in if necessary.

Take a deep breath and relax; this too will pass.

Hi Jan,

Just want to join the long line of well wishers and to let you know that I'll be keeping everything crossed for a speedy resolve and recovery to your health problems. If collective good vibes, prayers, and crossed body parts have any influence then you should just sail through this.

Take care and update when you can.

Luv & Hugs

CT scan confirmed the pheochromocytoma, so surgical consult is in. Now, I don't have to wonder about the diagnosis anymore.

Your knowledge and compassion will be missed while you are recuperating from surgery. Like everyone else here who has benefited from your advice, I wish you a speedy and non eventful recovery.
