There is an academic scholarship my daughter applied for called Crohns and Me for those entering or in college who have Crohns disease. It requires an essay. I realize most on this site have UC and it is specifically for those with Crohns. I would highly recommend everyone going to the site (just google Crohns and Me scholarship) as you can read the essays from past winners-it is very inspiring!

Check out your local BVR. Some states have them, technically not scholarships, but check out your vocational rehab services, and they might be able to hook you up.They might be able to pay for many things, like the cost, books, and others.
