I,ve had my j-pouch since 1998 and have been very happy minus a few bumps in the road. I was wondering are there people out there who have had the J-pouch for over 10, 15, 20 or maybe 25 years? And if you have had it that long how have you been doing in the 20+ range? How long have they been doing the procedure?

My Kock Pouch will be 29 years old in May 2007, wow...time sure has gone by fast. I have had no further surgery or revisions to my pouch or valve. I've had my Kock Pouch longer than I had a colon.

I told the truth, I stood my ground...one against an International Corporation with money and power. I am proud I tried to right a wrong (an illegal wrong) done to me with such impossible odds. I appreciate the courageous attorney who stood beside me, believed in me and saw it through to the end.
A miracle*, an angel*, my granddaughter *Jada Lynn*. You have taught me so much in so little time. A precious gift from God.
