For everyone out there that takes either VSL 3 or VSL 3 Double Strength, what is the best thing to mix it with. I tried it for the first time tonight and found the taste to be very unpleasant. Any suggestions of what you guys mix it with to make it bearable would be great. Thanks!

When I used VSL3 I put it in yoplait yogurt. I didn't think it changes the taste of the yogurt at all.

I mix it with applesauce. Motts has some flavored ones without added sugar (Country Berry, Strawberry, Blueberry), and those work very well for me.

I mix mine in about a half cup of chocolate milk. Tastes great!

I use probiotic enhanced yogurt and the unflavored VSL 3.

Can you mix it in drinks like coffee or tea? Can they be hot?

I mix mine with applesauce. When they gave me it in the hospital they had the one that mixed with liquids and they used grape or cranberry juice. The directions say not to mix with anything hot.

I mix mine (unflavored) with yogurt, and sometimes with yogurt and a little sherbet and use it as dessert. I have, at times, stirred it into my malt when we get our favorite carry-out from the local drive-in, and occasionally on cereal for breakfast. . . but that is usually only if it is pre-sweetened cereal!

My daughter uses yogurt, pudding, ice cream, fruit smoothies, etc.

Yoghurt - you don't taste it at all as long as you mix it in properly.

I mix mine in a 8 oz. bottle of water. Shake it up well. I have no problem with taste either. (VSL3/DS)

I just mix it up with a glass of water or in a plastic water bottle and just neck it. Tastes like paper or of not much really.

I mix VSL3 DS with OJ or with smoothies. Very little effect on the taste of the juice or smoothie.

I mix mine with Crystal Light lemonade in 20 ounces of water. I can't even taste the VSL#3.
