Not an end to your job, but you probably should wear an abdominal support if you are lifting heavy things, at least until you get this repaired. You don't want it to get worse. Jan

hope you get it repaired soon. It has been a long month waiting to get mine fixed - had to jump through workmans comp hoops to get it done. I am getting it fixed weds. David

Just so you know I was lifting very heavy weight for several months with an incisional hernia. It never caused me any problems but I eventually got it repaired when I blew out both hamstrings and couldn't go to the gym for a while anyway.
